Analysis 1
This is the first magazine advert analysis of Jimi Hendrix's album 'Valley of Neptune.'
Conventions seen within the Magazine Advert:
- Artist name.
- Title of album .
- Artists image.
- Release date information.
- Featured songs in the album.
- Where the album is available.
- Website information.
- Same font used for text.
The magazine advert conforms with the majority of conventions in a magazine advert. However it lacks promotional information from widely known reviewers or mainstream media to increase the amount of promotion. The magazine adverts colour scheme works really well and is effective in attracting audiences and potential consumers. The image of the artist designed in a very unique way and with the different shades of blue brings out the artist face, making it recognizable for audiences and consumers.
