Our first location to be used in our music video is going to be an empty car park, preferably a nocturnal scene. We also want all of our filming locations to be easily accessible, so that when it comes to filming the music video, if necessary it will be easy to go back and re-film sections of the video with ease. The unusual lighting that car parks give off at night will also add a grimey undertone to the music video. Thankfully each of the members in our group have a local car park that we would be able to film in.

Audience Feedback (Jordan):
Q1: What do you think about this chosen location to be used in our music video?
A1: I think using this as one of your locations would be a very good idea, especially as loads of grime artists have used them to film in. For example Chip, Kano and wretch 32 teamed up to film 'feeling myself' in a croyden car park.
Q2: Is there any faults with this chosen location? Or anything you think that may need reassessing?
A2: Overall, I really like the chosen location, however the only small criticism I have is that it may lack originality, as multiple grime artists use car parks to film their music videos.
Location 2:
Our second location that we would like to use in our music video is the outside of a police station. The reason for this is because we would like to challenge the stereotype of London youths in our video, as they are usually portrayed as trouble makers and as people who are generally in and out of prison for committing crimes, particularly those associated with the grime genre. Therefore choosing this as a location would add meaning to our music video.
Audience Feedback (Alex):
Q1: What do you think about this chosen location to be used in our music video?
A1: I think using a police station for a location in your music video would be very visually appealing, and not only that but the fact that you will be challenging the stereotype of London youths will also have an effect on the people watching it. it also shows that you have thought about this location carefully and have not only chosen it to make your video look appealing.
Q2: Is there any faults with this chosen location? Or anything you think that may need reassessing?
A2: Although I really like the idea of using a police station as a location, the only thing I have to say is that you may have trouble getting permission to film there, so perhaps contacting them a few weeks prior to filming would be a good idea as if you are not allowed to film there, you may have to look elsewhere.
Location 3:
Our third location to be used in our music video is going a high street, again we would like to film this scene during the night as I think the luminous lights from the shops contrasted by the dark background would add an amazing visual effect to our video. Again, we wanted to choose a location that would be easily accessible, so that if we would need to film certain parts of the music video again, it would be easy to get to the location and film. We also think that this location would be essential for our music video as it would offer the audience a chance to see the environment in which the youths in the music video have grown up in, this will help to add a sense of reality to it as it is nothing that anyone has not seen before.

Audience Feedback (Joe):
Q1: What do you think about this chosen location to be used in our music video?
A1: I think it would be a very good idea to use this as one of your locations for the music video. The different colour lights given off by the shop signs also complement the visuals. As well as that it gives the audience an insight on the characters in the music video and what they see and do on a daily basis, this will help to build a relationship between the audience and the youths in the video.
Q2: Is there any faults with this chosen location? Or anything you think that may need reassessing?
A2: The only negative about using this as a location is that it could be seen as very cliche, as multiple artists use similar locations to film their music videos, you should be make sure that there is a valid point to use this as a location to add to the story of the music video, and not just because it will look visually appealing.
Music video's that use similar locations
